What an awesome verse! The Word of God lighting the way that we should go. Ever find yourself in a situation where everything around you is pitch dark and all you have is a flashlight to light your way? My husband and I had an experience that we will never forget!
But finally the waters subsided enough for us to pass by them and we were on our way to Qumran - unfortunately by the time we got there it was dark. They were not going to allow us to go on the tour of Qumran stating it would be too dangerous in the dark - little did we know there were some pretty steep cliffs out there. Well we talked our tour guide into going on the tour with just a flashlight in hand. It was Amazing! I will never forget the feeling of being out there, following a flashlight to light our way each step we took. She pointed over to the caves where they found some of the Dead Sea Scrolls and I would point my camera in that direction and take a picture so the flash would light it up - It Was Awesome!
My friends that is what I think about when I read this verse! God's word is our flashlight leading us on the path that we should go. Yes there are many dangers out there in life, but if we simply follow what God's word tells us, if we simply follow His lead, He will lead us safely through life. Christ is the Light of the World! Trust in the Lord and be in His Word daily so that you can hear Him pointed you in the way you should go. God bless
