Welcome to Empowered Bible Studies

Bible study is essential to our Christian walk. As we study God's Word, our personal relationship with God grows deeper and deeper. It empowers us to live for the Lord in every aspect of our lives. This is what has inspired me to do an online Bible study.

Many years ago my husband introduced me to a commentary on the book of Colossians and I was so blessed as the Scripture came to life before my very eyes. Since that day we have developed an extensive library and enjoy studying God's Word.

I have prepared some Bible studies that I would like to share with you. My prayer is that they will bless you as much as they have blessed me in preparing them. I pray your life is touched and that it would inspire you to live every moment of every day for Christ.

Trusting God in Our Trials

When you are in the depth of the trials in your life and you feel as if you are being sucked into the heart of the river of life, take courage my friend.

When you feel as if you are hanging on for dear life, remember, Jesus is the captain of the boat and He will guide you through the River of Life.

So my friend, when trials come as it says in James 1:2 “when” not “if”, Hold onto Jesus. It is through the trials of life that your faith grows as we see in James 1:3 'knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.'

It is when the trials come that we go to our knees praying and asking for God to help.  When life is going smooth, how many times do you get on your knees?  It is through those trials that we trust God to meet all our needs and we see that God is in control. Trust in the Lord my friend, He is in control!

    ‎...trials and sufferings will once pass on our way..do not fear but believe that we have a powerful GOD who loves us..and will lift us up and even make us a better person..

    Amen! All we need in this life is to focus on God....trials and sufferings will come and go but if we are deeply rooted in God and in His words, He will empower us and we will be able to surpass everything..just ask and it will be given...Pray...pray...pray for more courage to face every obstacles...follow the right path no matter how narrow...Go Christians, ... go forward!
