Welcome to Empowered Bible Studies

Bible study is essential to our Christian walk. As we study God's Word, our personal relationship with God grows deeper and deeper. It empowers us to live for the Lord in every aspect of our lives. This is what has inspired me to do an online Bible study.

Many years ago my husband introduced me to a commentary on the book of Colossians and I was so blessed as the Scripture came to life before my very eyes. Since that day we have developed an extensive library and enjoy studying God's Word.

I have prepared some Bible studies that I would like to share with you. My prayer is that they will bless you as much as they have blessed me in preparing them. I pray your life is touched and that it would inspire you to live every moment of every day for Christ.

What are you Thankful for?

As we approach this Thanksgiving Season, ask yourself 
'What am I Thankful for?'

    MY HEALTH (Two+ y/ago) I wasntnt able to walk I was in diapers and barely able to talk

    I'm thankful for my salvation, my husband, family and friends, shelter, the beautiful ocean and trees, flowers, my puppies. The lost goes on and on. Thank you for Jesus. Thank you for the Holy Spirit. Thank you for you too.

    Family (husband first)
    Church, Bible teaching pastor, the church family
    Friends
    Sisters and brothers in Christ
    The beauty that surrounds us
    Paths crossing in town with many friends
    A 'sister' or 'brother' who sends an encouraging devotional or words of comfort
    That our son, Brian will be with us for Thanksgiving (Lord willing)(We retired here in
    2004 and he has come up EVERY thanksgiving..Thank you Lord.
    God's care and guidance for Roy's health issues
    My health to do what I can for him
