Welcome to Empowered Bible Studies

Bible study is essential to our Christian walk. As we study God's Word, our personal relationship with God grows deeper and deeper. It empowers us to live for the Lord in every aspect of our lives. This is what has inspired me to do an online Bible study.

Many years ago my husband introduced me to a commentary on the book of Colossians and I was so blessed as the Scripture came to life before my very eyes. Since that day we have developed an extensive library and enjoy studying God's Word.

I have prepared some Bible studies that I would like to share with you. My prayer is that they will bless you as much as they have blessed me in preparing them. I pray your life is touched and that it would inspire you to live every moment of every day for Christ.

Building a Strong Root System

Today I watched as the fierce winds blew the trees around and thought about how with each fierce blow the roots are digging in deeper and deeper trying to hang on and not fall over.


Reminded me of the Trials we go through and how they toss us too and fro. As we face the trials in our lives we are to dig deeper into God's word building a firm root system in Jesus Christ to keep us from falling. We need to pray for Spiritual Strength to hold on during the fierce trials.

James 1:2-3 ‘Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance’

Psalm 73:26 'My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.'

Ephesians 3:16-17 'according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith that you, being rooted and grounded in love
