Matthew 6:33 'But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.'
The verb 'seek' here is best interpreted 'seek continually'.
I totally understand how there simply doesn't seem to be enough time in a day to get everything done that needs to be done plus fit time in to study the Word of God - and don't think that isn't exactly what Satan continually whispers in our ear. But as the scripture tells us, we need to seek first the kingdom of God. We need to prioritize our time and make sure that we set aside time to be in the Word of God, cultivating our relationship with Him. How many times do we try to do other things while we are spending time with Him where He doesn't have our full attention? You sit down to study but have fifty million things running through your mind where you can't concentrate on what God's word is telling you. If we put God's will and God's righteousness first in our lives, He will take care of everything else. Continually make God First in your life - Live everyday as unto the Lord seeking His will for your life.
