Welcome to Empowered Bible Studies
Bible study is essential to our Christian walk. As we study God's Word, our personal relationship with God grows deeper and deeper. It empowers us to live for the Lord in every aspect of our lives. This is what has inspired me to do an online Bible study.
Many years ago my husband introduced me to a commentary on the book of Colossians and I was so blessed as the Scripture came to life before my very eyes. Since that day we have developed an extensive library and enjoy studying God's Word.
I have prepared some Bible studies that I would like to share with you. My prayer is that they will bless you as much as they have blessed me in preparing them. I pray your life is touched and that it would inspire you to live every moment of every day for Christ.

Don't Refuse God's Help
Are we so Heavenly minded that we miss God's blessings? For example, “There was this man who was drowning in the river and as he was fighting for his life, he trusted that God would save him. A boat came up to help him and he refused their help saying “God is going to save me”. As the man was still floating in the river, barley keeping his head above the water, another boat came and threw him a life jacket. The man again refused the help saying “God is going to save me”. Finally the man could not stay above the water any longer and he drowned. When he got to heaven he said to God “Lord why didn’t you save me?” God replied, “I sent you two boats and a life jacket and you refused them”.
The point is, God uses things to provide for us, so we need to make sure that we don’t refuse what God is sending to provide for our needs. Sometimes God uses things, sometimes He uses people to help provide for our needs. We just have to make sure that we worship God who provides for our needs and Not the things or people he uses to meet our need. Things in and of themselves are not bad – it is what we do with them.
Remember, Surrender everything to God as He will never fail you!
~ And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
