Welcome to Empowered Bible Studies

Bible study is essential to our Christian walk. As we study God's Word, our personal relationship with God grows deeper and deeper. It empowers us to live for the Lord in every aspect of our lives. This is what has inspired me to do an online Bible study.

Many years ago my husband introduced me to a commentary on the book of Colossians and I was so blessed as the Scripture came to life before my very eyes. Since that day we have developed an extensive library and enjoy studying God's Word.

I have prepared some Bible studies that I would like to share with you. My prayer is that they will bless you as much as they have blessed me in preparing them. I pray your life is touched and that it would inspire you to live every moment of every day for Christ.

Incite others to be better Christians

I love this quote by A.W. Tozer: 'I want to be one of those rare Christians whose very presence incites others to also be better Christians.' It shows that inner desire to live our lives for Christ, to live in such a way that people are drawn to Jesus Christ!

My friend, in order to incite others to be better Christians, we need to walk the talk! We need to live our lives as unto The Lord. We need to be in God's Word which will empower us to live according to His will.
Do you find yourself thirsting for God's Word, where you just can't wait to be able to sit down and delve into His word to see what He wants to teach you? The enjoyment and communion with God was an urgent need to the Psalmist's soul in Psalm 42:1 'As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God.'
Thirst is a perpetual appetite just as the longing for a deep personal relationship with God is. Don't quench your thirst, seek communion with God to fill your soul so that His light will shine through you. Be one of those rare Christians whose very presence incites others to also be better Christians.
