Welcome to Empowered Bible Studies

Bible study is essential to our Christian walk. As we study God's Word, our personal relationship with God grows deeper and deeper. It empowers us to live for the Lord in every aspect of our lives. This is what has inspired me to do an online Bible study.

Many years ago my husband introduced me to a commentary on the book of Colossians and I was so blessed as the Scripture came to life before my very eyes. Since that day we have developed an extensive library and enjoy studying God's Word.

I have prepared some Bible studies that I would like to share with you. My prayer is that they will bless you as much as they have blessed me in preparing them. I pray your life is touched and that it would inspire you to live every moment of every day for Christ.

Footprints of Life

For every life given, we also see a life taken. Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 says 'For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die' ~

What is your life? Reading through social media we see people making plans all the time, from taking trips, getting married, to visiting family and friends. We all have certain things we want to do and accomplish, places we want to go and people we want to see.

What does our social media footprints say about us? Will those who follow our footprints find Jesus? The words you have penned and the photos you have posted will touch a person's heart even after we leave this world. So what legacy are we leaving for those to follow?

Then we are reminded of what James said 'Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit"; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.' ~ James 4:13-14

Sometimes our plans do not meet up to God's plan for our life. For example, the Apostle Paul wanted to go to Rome as a preacher (Romans 1:13-14); instead, he arrived as a prisoner. We need to be able to say 'Ok Lord, your Will not mine be done'; 'I will go Lord where you want me to go and do what you want me to do'; lead my life Lord. We need to let go of our plans and say I trust you Lord to direct my path. Say with the Apostle Paul; I will be content in what the Lord has for me. (Philippians 4:11)

Keep trusting my friend and keep seeking God's will ... Life is short so live every moment for The Lord. Pass on a Godly Legacy for those following in your footprints.
