Suffering behind the Smile

There are so many people in the world who are suffering today, and yet you wouldn't know it by looking at them. On the outside they are smiling as if nothing is wrong, but on the inside they are hurting, living in despair and troubled. May we all be sensitive to those around us; may we ask the Lord to open our eyes so that we can see those who are hurting and those that need comfort.
My friend, if you are hurting, you don't have to put on a brave face with God! God promises over and over throughout scripture that He will not leave us and that He is with us through our trials. Trust in the Lord to see you through the trial you are facing.

Hebrews 13:5 ... Jesus said, I will never leave you nor forsake you.

Psalm 34:18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

You are not alone, God is with you through the good times and the bad times, just call upon His name.
