There is so much we can learn from the life of Esther. She was a young woman of strong character. Notice in Esther 1:15 it states that Esther obtained favor in the sight of all who saw her. Esther had a quality about her that went beyond beauty which showed kindness, graciousness, humility and love. She had a wisdom about her that demonstrated she was trustworthy, dependable, faithful and loyal. The principles we learn from Esther are not just for women, but for both men and women. As Christians our inner beauty, our character, should be what separates us from the rest of the world, that Christ's light should be the highlight that people are drawn to.
As the children's song says: 'This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine'. My friend, Allow God's light to shine through you!
