Welcome to Empowered Bible Study Ministries

Bible study is essential to our Christian walk. As we study God's Word, our personal relationship with God grows deeper and deeper. It empowers us to live for the Lord in every aspect of our lives. This is what has inspired me to do an online Bible study.

Many years ago my husband introduced me to a commentary on the book of Colossians and I was so blessed as the Scripture came to life before my very eyes. Since that day we have developed an extensive library and enjoy studying God's Word.

I have prepared some Bible studies that I would like to share with you. My prayer is that they will bless you as much as they have blessed me in preparing them. I pray your life is touched and that it would inspire you to live every moment of every day for Christ.

Jesus will Calm any Storm

You ever feel overwhelmed and out of control as the storms of life hit at full force. As Christians, we don't have to feel that way.

It is so comforting to know that we don't have to face our storms alone, we don't have to feel overwhelmed because Jesus is with us. The disciples learned this as we see in Mark 4:37-40 'And a great windstorm arose, and the waves were breaking into the boat, so that the boat was already filling. But he(Jesus) was in the stern, asleep on the cushion. And they woke him and said to him, “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?” And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. He said to them, “Why are you so afraid? Have you still no faith?'

My friend, Jesus calmed the storm on the Sea of Galilee, so you can have faith that He can calm any storm that comes your way. Place your trust and faith in the one true God, He is there for you.
