Welcome to Empowered Bible Studies

Bible study is essential to our Christian walk. As we study God's Word, our personal relationship with God grows deeper and deeper. It empowers us to live for the Lord in every aspect of our lives. This is what has inspired me to do an online Bible study.

Many years ago my husband introduced me to a commentary on the book of Colossians and I was so blessed as the Scripture came to life before my very eyes. Since that day we have developed an extensive library and enjoy studying God's Word.

I have prepared some Bible studies that I would like to share with you. My prayer is that they will bless you as much as they have blessed me in preparing them. I pray your life is touched and that it would inspire you to live every moment of every day for Christ.

God's Perfect Timing

We set out on our journey in life with a certain plan in mind. As we turn each corner or face a fork in the road, life throws obstacles that seem to take us down certain pathways.

My friend, the key here is that God is in control. Solomon’s point in this scripture is that God has a plan for all people: Ecclesiastes 3:1 'There is an appointed time for everything, and there is a time for every event under heaven'.

We must accept God's timing ~ a set determined time, when everything shall come into being, how long it shall continue, and in what circumstances; all things that have been, are, or shall be, were foreordained by God. The secret to peace with God is to discover, accept, and appreciate God’s perfect timing and His sovereign control of our lives.

Find comfort in these words as the Lord calms your spirit! Trust in The Lord to direct your path (Proverbs 3:5-6), as He will work everything out according to His will for your life. (Romans 8:28) Remember Who God is and place your Trust in Him.
