When we talk about getting out of the focus of our own vision, we are talking about those things that take the place of God, they have twisted our vision inward, looking at ourselves rather than placing our focus on God.
Hebrews 12:2 “Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (NKJV)
My friend, let's examine this verse ~ Looking unto Jesus – “looking” is in the Present Active Participle – it means we are to continually look unto Jesus. This is not a one-time act; my friend, it is to be a continual action. Get your focus off yourself, off your circumstances and keep looking unto Jesus ~ He will direct you along life's journey! Live each day as unto the Lord, trusting in His ultimate plan for your life.
