Welcome to Empowered Bible Studies

Bible study is essential to our Christian walk. As we study God's Word, our personal relationship with God grows deeper and deeper. It empowers us to live for the Lord in every aspect of our lives. This is what has inspired me to do an online Bible study.

Many years ago my husband introduced me to a commentary on the book of Colossians and I was so blessed as the Scripture came to life before my very eyes. Since that day we have developed an extensive library and enjoy studying God's Word.

I have prepared some Bible studies that I would like to share with you. My prayer is that they will bless you as much as they have blessed me in preparing them. I pray your life is touched and that it would inspire you to live every moment of every day for Christ.

Walk with God

As Paul prayed for the Colossians and their Christian walk, he did not pray that it might be pleasing to man, but to God.

My friend, we need to live a life that is pleasing to the Lord as we see in Colossians 1:10 'That you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God'. ~ The word “walk” is frequently used in Scripture to describe the outward, or visible, expression of our Christian life. It emphasizes progressing in conduct by taking one step at a time as our lives produce spiritual fruit. The verse goes on to say 'increasing in the knowledge of God'. We need to make sure that our Christian walk is progressing and in order to do that, we need to be in God's word ~ increasing our knowledge of God ~ And obeying what we learn as we draw closer to our Lord. My friend allow God's love to overflow in your life. Be a living example to those around you. Continually walk faithfully with the Lord as he guides you on life's journey.
