Welcome to Empowered Bible Studies

Bible study is essential to our Christian walk. As we study God's Word, our personal relationship with God grows deeper and deeper. It empowers us to live for the Lord in every aspect of our lives. This is what has inspired me to do an online Bible study.

Many years ago my husband introduced me to a commentary on the book of Colossians and I was so blessed as the Scripture came to life before my very eyes. Since that day we have developed an extensive library and enjoy studying God's Word.

I have prepared some Bible studies that I would like to share with you. My prayer is that they will bless you as much as they have blessed me in preparing them. I pray your life is touched and that it would inspire you to live every moment of every day for Christ.

I'm a Child of God

As children of God, our names are written in Heaven in the book of life! Luke 10:20 "... rejoice because your names are written in heaven." How awesome is that!

If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your personal savior, then your name will not be in the book of life. - Rev 20:15 "If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire." My friend, you must believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, that He came to sacrificially take the punishment for your sins that you may be found blameless in God's eyes.
It is only through Jesus Christ that your name will be in the book of life.

In God's sovereignty, He controls and has power over His creation. He planned from the beginning, before the foundation of the world what events would take place in order to fulfill His plan and purpose. - Isaiah 46:9-10 "Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, 'My counsel shall stand and I will do all My pleasure,'
