Welcome to Empowered Bible Studies

Bible study is essential to our Christian walk. As we study God's Word, our personal relationship with God grows deeper and deeper. It empowers us to live for the Lord in every aspect of our lives. This is what has inspired me to do an online Bible study.

Many years ago my husband introduced me to a commentary on the book of Colossians and I was so blessed as the Scripture came to life before my very eyes. Since that day we have developed an extensive library and enjoy studying God's Word.

I have prepared some Bible studies that I would like to share with you. My prayer is that they will bless you as much as they have blessed me in preparing them. I pray your life is touched and that it would inspire you to live every moment of every day for Christ.

God is with you

God's love is unfailing, His grace is always sufficient, and he is with us in our troubles. Isaiah 43:2 'When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.'

When you pass through the waters - remember Moses and the Israelites when Moses parted the sea for them to escape the Egyptians - God was with them wasn't he! (Exodus 14:21)

When you pass through the rivers - remember the Priests as they carried the Arch of the Covenant over the river - God was with them wasn't He! (Joshua 3:14-17)

When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned - remember the three Hebrew boys who did not burn in the furnace - God was with them wasn't He! (Daniel 3:22-28)

He will not spare us from the waters of sorrow and the fires of adversity, but He will go through them with us. God will never leave you nor forsake you as we see in Hebrews 13:5 - He promises that He will be with you!
