Welcome to Empowered Bible Studies

Bible study is essential to our Christian walk. As we study God's Word, our personal relationship with God grows deeper and deeper. It empowers us to live for the Lord in every aspect of our lives. This is what has inspired me to do an online Bible study.

Many years ago my husband introduced me to a commentary on the book of Colossians and I was so blessed as the Scripture came to life before my very eyes. Since that day we have developed an extensive library and enjoy studying God's Word.

I have prepared some Bible studies that I would like to share with you. My prayer is that they will bless you as much as they have blessed me in preparing them. I pray your life is touched and that it would inspire you to live every moment of every day for Christ.

Brightly shining

Christmas lights are especially beautiful at night-time as they shine brightly in the midst of the dark evening.

We can say the same thing about our lives when we are at our darkest point in life, it is a beautiful thing to see Christ's light shine through us to encourage and strengthen us. You see Jesus Christ is the Light of the World! John 8:12 tells us: Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, "I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life."

So this Christmas season, when you see the beautiful Christmas lights, know that Jesus is with you to brighten your way. Stop and reflect on all the blessings He has given you this year and know that He is with you twenty-four seven. He is with you through the good times as well as the bad. He never sleeps and is waiting to commune with you, to encourage and strengthen you in your Christian walk.

Christ's light shines bright in our darkest times! Thank you Lord Jesus for being with me through the tough times!
