Welcome to Empowered Bible Studies

Bible study is essential to our Christian walk. As we study God's Word, our personal relationship with God grows deeper and deeper. It empowers us to live for the Lord in every aspect of our lives. This is what has inspired me to do an online Bible study.

Many years ago my husband introduced me to a commentary on the book of Colossians and I was so blessed as the Scripture came to life before my very eyes. Since that day we have developed an extensive library and enjoy studying God's Word.

I have prepared some Bible studies that I would like to share with you. My prayer is that they will bless you as much as they have blessed me in preparing them. I pray your life is touched and that it would inspire you to live every moment of every day for Christ.

God's Greatest Gift

There is a lot of sadness in the world today, and there are several people this Christmas season who are really having a rough time. Some feel forced to be happy and joyful because that is what the Commercial Corporate world wants us to be.

My friend, Christmas is not about Christmas parties and fellowship with family and friends, it is not about gifts under the Christmas tree or even being happy, it is about remembering why our Lord came to this world to bring us salvation.

Joy and Happiness are two different things; Joy comes from the inside where we have a peace that only Christ can bring - a peace beyond understanding. Christmas Joy is not found in gifts, it is found in the greatest gift ever given - Jesus Christ! ~ John 3:16-17 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him". God loved us so much that He gave the ultimate sacrifice for us!

If you are going through a rough time right now, I pray you feel the loving arms of your savior Jesus Christ around you this Christmas season.

If you have not yet accepted this Free gift, you can do it Now!
"If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9

Here is a sample prayer:
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my personal Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name. Amen." ~
