Welcome to Empowered Bible Studies

Bible study is essential to our Christian walk. As we study God's Word, our personal relationship with God grows deeper and deeper. It empowers us to live for the Lord in every aspect of our lives. This is what has inspired me to do an online Bible study.

Many years ago my husband introduced me to a commentary on the book of Colossians and I was so blessed as the Scripture came to life before my very eyes. Since that day we have developed an extensive library and enjoy studying God's Word.

I have prepared some Bible studies that I would like to share with you. My prayer is that they will bless you as much as they have blessed me in preparing them. I pray your life is touched and that it would inspire you to live every moment of every day for Christ.

Encourage One Another

There is a lot of sadness in the world today. A word of encouragement offered at the right moment can mean the difference in someone's life.  Let's build one another up instead of tearing them down. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 states: "Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing."
 

My friend we never know what someone is going through.  Look around you; Be sensitive to others' need for encouragement and offer supportive words and prayer.  Let's make a difference in someone's life today. Reach out and show God's love to those around you. 

Keep trusting God, don't give up when times get rough! God does have a plan and purpose for your life. Jeremiah 29:11 ~ For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
