Note how our inheritance is described in 1 Peter 1:4: "to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you". ~ Incorruptible - Undefiled - Does not fade away ... Incorruptible means that nothing can ruin it, undefiled - it cannot be stained or cheapened in any way, it will never fade or decay it is eternal.
Our promised inheritance comes from our loving Father. We cannot earn an inheritance; it is a gift. The Jews had looked forward to an inheritance in the Promised Land of Canaan (Numbers 32:19; Deuteronomy 2:12; 19:8). Christians now look forward to a family inheritance in the eternal city of God. God has reserved the inheritance for those who have accepted Christ as their savior.
It is easy To accept God's Gift: "If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." ~ Romans 10:9
Here is a sample prayer:
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my personal Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name. Amen." ~
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
It is not about a Religion, it is about having a Personal Relationship with God.
