Oh dear friends, there is so much unrest in the world today and Satan is hard at work! He is whispering in our ears all the negative things he can think of to discourage us. But my friend, greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4)!
Remember that it is not in our own strength that we can conquer Satan's attacks, it is through God's word. When you have hidden scripture in your heart the Holy Spirit will bring them to remembrance as you need them.
When you are in times of trials, my friend, turn to God's Word knowing that it is through Christ that we have strength! Philippians 4:13 'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me'.
And lastly, keep your focus on God not on your circumstances! Remember Peter was able to walk on water as long as he kept his eyes on Christ. The minute he took his eyes off Christ and on to the circumstances around him he sank!
Oh my friend, Peter may have sank but Christ was right there to pull him up out of the water! Christ never leaves us (Hebrews 13:5)!
Keep your focus on Christ and not on the circumstances around you. Trust in the Lord and know that He is in control of everything.
Blessings to you my dear friends
Welcome to Empowered Bible Studies
Bible study is essential to our Christian walk. As we study God's Word, our personal relationship with God grows deeper and deeper. It empowers us to live for the Lord in every aspect of our lives. This is what has inspired me to do an online Bible study.
Many years ago my husband introduced me to a commentary on the book of Colossians and I was so blessed as the Scripture came to life before my very eyes. Since that day we have developed an extensive library and enjoy studying God's Word.
I have prepared some Bible studies that I would like to share with you. My prayer is that they will bless you as much as they have blessed me in preparing them. I pray your life is touched and that it would inspire you to live every moment of every day for Christ.
