There is a song by Brandon Heath called 'Give me your eyes' which I believe has a great message where he talks about having a heart for the lost and seeing people through God's eyes.
One of the lines in the song is: All those people going somewhere, Why have I never cared? Then the Chorus says: 'Give me your eyes for just one second, Give me your eyes so I can see Everything that I keep missing, Give me your love for humanity, Give me your arms for the broken-hearted Ones that are far beyond my reach. Give me your heart for the ones forgotten Give me your eyes so I can see'
Oh my friend this song really hits home – how many times do we pass people with blinders on our eyes! My prayer is that God would rip the veil from our eyes to be able to see people as God does, to be there as a comfort to the hurting and give the message of hope to the lost. My friend our lives need to glorify God in everything we do.
i heard the song... it has a nice message.
