Welcome to Empowered Bible Studies

Bible study is essential to our Christian walk. As we study God's Word, our personal relationship with God grows deeper and deeper. It empowers us to live for the Lord in every aspect of our lives. This is what has inspired me to do an online Bible study.

Many years ago my husband introduced me to a commentary on the book of Colossians and I was so blessed as the Scripture came to life before my very eyes. Since that day we have developed an extensive library and enjoy studying God's Word.

I have prepared some Bible studies that I would like to share with you. My prayer is that they will bless you as much as they have blessed me in preparing them. I pray your life is touched and that it would inspire you to live every moment of every day for Christ.

God Remembers Our Sin No More

As we saw in our last post, we sin because we have a sin nature but that God wants us to be honest with Him, admit our sin and ask for forgiveness.  Today we see that as we ask for forgiveness that God remembers our sin no more.  Hebrews 10:17 'Then he says, "I will never again remember their sins and lawless deeds."

How many times have you gone before the Lord to ask for forgiveness of a sin and yet Satan continually reminds you of that sin? My friend don't allow Satan to get you down, Scripture tells us that God will never again remember our sins!  Wow! Doesn't that take a load off your shoulders!  Think about how you feel when Satan reminds you of past sins, now do you keep track of the wrongs that people do to you? Ephesians 4:32 'And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ forgave you.'  Follow Christ's example and don't keep track of the wrongs that people do to you.
