Welcome to Empowered Bible Studies

Bible study is essential to our Christian walk. As we study God's Word, our personal relationship with God grows deeper and deeper. It empowers us to live for the Lord in every aspect of our lives. This is what has inspired me to do an online Bible study.

Many years ago my husband introduced me to a commentary on the book of Colossians and I was so blessed as the Scripture came to life before my very eyes. Since that day we have developed an extensive library and enjoy studying God's Word.

I have prepared some Bible studies that I would like to share with you. My prayer is that they will bless you as much as they have blessed me in preparing them. I pray your life is touched and that it would inspire you to live every moment of every day for Christ.

We are a Work in Progress

Work in Progress
Sometimes we can get discouraged in our Christian walk thinking we are not growing.  But don't be discouraged my friend, remember that God won't give up on you as He promises to finish the work he has begun.  Philippians 1:6 'And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ (right up to the time of His return,), developing (that good work) and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.' AMP

God is not finished with us yet...There is always work for God to do; therefore, God is always working within the life of the believer to mature him more and more.  The work is never complete as long as the believer lives on earth so keep pursuing a growing relationship with God.
