Come into God's Presence

Daily living in God's presence! Before Christ's crucifixion, once a year the High priest would go into the Holy of Holies as a mediator and pray for the sins of the people; however, as we see in Mark 15:38 at the crucifixion, the curtain to the Holy of Holies was torn down, Christ died to atone for the sins of the world.
This is Exciting news! Jesus Christ became our High Priest, our Mediator as we see in Hebrew 9:15 'For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance--now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.'

My dear friend, those who put their faith in Jesus Christ can approach God directly through Christ, they no longer have to have a human priest act on their behalf! Thank you Lord that we can All come daily into God's presence. Hebrews 4:16 'Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.' As it says in 1 Peter 2:9, we are all a Royal Priesthood.

Let us seek the Lord continually! Let us desire to be in His presence continually as we seek His guidance in our lives! Let us say as the Psalmist said 'Your face, Lord, I will seek'! ~ Psalm 27:8
