Do you like to be in control? Are you a detail oriented person who loves to plan out each day, as well as your future, as to what you will be doing? Listen to what James has to say about this matter in James 4:13-16: Now listen, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money." Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you should say,"If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that." As it is, you boast and brag. All such boasting is evil.My friend, life is short! We need to seek God's will as we plan out our lives. Remember God has a plan and purpose for our lives that we may not always see. So as changes come to our schedules, take it in stride and see where God is leading you. Relinquish control to God.
