David said in Psalm 9:10 "And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; for You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You." My friend, It is only as we know God in this personal way that we come to trust Him.
We have come up with an acronym for what Trusting God will do in your life: We used the word "Trust":
T = Transform your life (Trust is not always easy, but if we could learn to trust God in everything, our lives would be transformed; Trusting God will Transform your life.)
R = Relinquish all control of your life to Him (Think about living a life where anything that comes into your life - whether good or bad is under the control of God, that you know God is there watching over you, working everything out for your good. If we really lived and believed this way think about how awesome your life would be)
U = Ultimately make Christ Lord of your life (Making Christ Lord of our lives basically is surrendering total control of your life to Him. Trusting Him to fully take control and supply all our needs)
S = Spiritually Strengthen your life (When you trust in God your life cannot help but be strengthened. It is not our strength, right, it is God's strength - Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". The closer we get to God the stronger we become through Him.)
T = Thanking God for everything (The more you walk closer and closer to God, the more you trust God, the more you will find yourself thanking God for everything in your life, because you know everything is within God's control.)
Let us pursue a deeper relationship with our Lord together.
