Wow! A lot of times we talk about being aware of how much we think about God in our every day life, but have you ever really thought about how much God thinks of you? The Psalmist paints a beautiful picture of the love of our Heavenly Father and of His care as He watches over us 24/7. We see in the first part of this Psalm that God knows us better than we do ourselves.
Psalm 139:1-4 'O LORD, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O LORD, you know it altogether.'
My friend, God has perfect knowledge of us, and all our thoughts and actions are open before him. That God knows all things, is omniscient; that he is every where, is omnipresent; are truths acknowledged by all, yet they are seldom rightly believed in by mankind. God takes strict notice of every step we take, what actions we do, what end we walk toward, and what company we walk with. Wherever we are, we are under the eye and hand of the Almighty God! What an honor it is to be a Child of God!
