Oh I do love David's Psalm 25, It starts off in verse one: 'To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul.' You can just picture the total devotion of David here.
The Hebrew phrase does not mean a temporary raising of the heart to God, but a permanent setting of the affections on him
Wow, how many times do we start our day like that - To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul.'
Then we see in verses 4-5: 'Show me your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; on You I wait all the day.'
My friend, we should start every day like this, seeking God's will in our lives, asking what His way is and that He would teach us the pathway He wants us to take. Total Trust in the One True God!
