Life can throw unexpected surprises at us at any given time, and it is easier to say we have total trust in God sometimes than it is to actually live it. But if we can truly learn as the Psalmist did in those paralyzing times, to call upon the Lord, He will be there with us every step of the way.
Psalm 56:3-4 says 'Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?'
The Psalmist here learned to Trust in the Lord in the midst of his fear. The variation of 'I am afraid'; 'I will not be afraid'; and ' I will trust' conveys his confidence in the Lord, in his Redeemer to deliver him.
Joshua 1:9 says 'Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is wherever you go. '
My friend, What is your fear? Meet it head on because God is greater and He is with you wherever you go. Say with the Psalmist 'I will Trust in you, I will not be afraid'. Embrace your faith and know You are not alone, Trust in the Lord.
