Christ said He will never leave us, but there are occasions when we don’t feel His presence isn’t there. Job had a point in his adversity where he couldn't feel God's presence.
Let's look at Job 23:8-10 "Look, I go forward, but He is not there, And backward, but I cannot perceive Him; When He works on the left hand, I cannot behold Him; When He turns to the right hand, I cannot see Him. But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold." (NKJV)
Job trusted God even though he couldn't sense His presence. He believed that God was watching over him and would bring him through that trial as purified gold and God did.
My friend, the comforting thing that we can cling onto is that even though we don't feel God's presence, we can have confidence to know that He is there. Christ does not move from us, we move from Him. He has promised that He will never leave you nor forsake you. What we need to do is Trust even when we don't understand, we need to Trust even when we don't feel His presence, we need to know that He is in control and will bring us through this. The Lord is with you my friends, you are Not alone!
