When faced with imminent death these two men, one on each side of Christ on crosses, had a choice: Believe in Christ or Reject him.
Luke 23:39-43 One of the criminals who were hanged railed at him, saying, “Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us!” But the other rebuked him, saying, “Do you not fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we are receiving the due reward of our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.” And he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”
Notice the two entirely different responses of these two men. My friend, Christ died on the cross and paid the price for our sins so that we may live with Him throughout Eternity! Don't wait until you are facing death to make your choice because it may be too late. Accept Christ into your heart today because you never know what tomorrow holds.
"If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9
Here is a sample prayer:
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my personal Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name. Amen." ~
