Welcome to Empowered Bible Studies

Bible study is essential to our Christian walk. As we study God's Word, our personal relationship with God grows deeper and deeper. It empowers us to live for the Lord in every aspect of our lives. This is what has inspired me to do an online Bible study.

Many years ago my husband introduced me to a commentary on the book of Colossians and I was so blessed as the Scripture came to life before my very eyes. Since that day we have developed an extensive library and enjoy studying God's Word.

I have prepared some Bible studies that I would like to share with you. My prayer is that they will bless you as much as they have blessed me in preparing them. I pray your life is touched and that it would inspire you to live every moment of every day for Christ.

God will Provide a Way

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. ~1 Corinthians 10:13

What an encouraging verse! Think about it, there is no temptation that is unique - it says they are common to man. This means that there are other believers that have already gone through the very same temptation and have come through it victoriously - meaning we can too!

Sometimes we feel as if we are drowning in the temptation, but God knows what we can bear and how much we can bear. Notice it says you will not be tempted beyond your ability; therefore, He limits every single temptation within our limits to overcome it. God is faithful.

God provides a way to escape. He always makes an escape route, a way out of the temptation. He always gives us the strength and energy to walk through or over the temptation or else to turn and flee from it.

Thank you Lord for Always providing a way of escape from the temptations that we face! We simply need to trust God and seek Him in our everyday life choices! We need to stand firm in our faith and flee temptations!
