Welcome to Empowered Bible Studies

Bible study is essential to our Christian walk. As we study God's Word, our personal relationship with God grows deeper and deeper. It empowers us to live for the Lord in every aspect of our lives. This is what has inspired me to do an online Bible study.

Many years ago my husband introduced me to a commentary on the book of Colossians and I was so blessed as the Scripture came to life before my very eyes. Since that day we have developed an extensive library and enjoy studying God's Word.

I have prepared some Bible studies that I would like to share with you. My prayer is that they will bless you as much as they have blessed me in preparing them. I pray your life is touched and that it would inspire you to live every moment of every day for Christ.

Jesus will rescue you

Do you feel overwhelmed by your circumstances and find yourself falling in a pit of despair? Keep the faith my friend because help is close by.

As you put your trust in Jesus Christ, he reaches down and pulls us out of the miry clay and sets our feet on solid rock. ~ Psalm 40:2 "He (God) also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps." God is with you dear friend, trust Him in the midst of your trial.

Psalm 94:18-19 'If I should say, “My foot has slipped,” Your lovingkindness, O LORD, will hold me up. When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your comforts delight my soul.'

Oh how comforting to know that our Lord is with us every second of the day! Feel yourself slipping? Grab hold of The Lord, He is there to rescue you. Feeling anxious, find comfort in the Lord.

The LORD has been my stronghold, and my God the rock of my refuge. ~ Psalm 94:22

Keep the faith my friend, answer to prayer may not be immediate, but God is Faithful and will answer according to His timing and His will.
