Welcome to Empowered Bible Studies

Bible study is essential to our Christian walk. As we study God's Word, our personal relationship with God grows deeper and deeper. It empowers us to live for the Lord in every aspect of our lives. This is what has inspired me to do an online Bible study.

Many years ago my husband introduced me to a commentary on the book of Colossians and I was so blessed as the Scripture came to life before my very eyes. Since that day we have developed an extensive library and enjoy studying God's Word.

I have prepared some Bible studies that I would like to share with you. My prayer is that they will bless you as much as they have blessed me in preparing them. I pray your life is touched and that it would inspire you to live every moment of every day for Christ.

I can through Christ

As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. ~ 1 Peter 4:10-11.

Each Christian has at least one spiritual gift that we must use to the glory of God. God gives us the gifts, the abilities, and the opportunities to use the gifts and He alone must get the glory. Christian love must result in service. Believers are to care for one another with the strength that God supplies. Peter makes sure that we understand that God alone is the resource who provides the gift and the ability to employ that gift in such a way that the entire body of Christ is cared for and edified. In the end, God alone is to be glorified in everything that we do.

Friends, show Christ’s love to those around you. Use the God-given gifts that you have to further the Gospel. Live each day for Christ.
