Welcome to Empowered Bible Studies

Bible study is essential to our Christian walk. As we study God's Word, our personal relationship with God grows deeper and deeper. It empowers us to live for the Lord in every aspect of our lives. This is what has inspired me to do an online Bible study.

Many years ago my husband introduced me to a commentary on the book of Colossians and I was so blessed as the Scripture came to life before my very eyes. Since that day we have developed an extensive library and enjoy studying God's Word.

I have prepared some Bible studies that I would like to share with you. My prayer is that they will bless you as much as they have blessed me in preparing them. I pray your life is touched and that it would inspire you to live every moment of every day for Christ.

Lead me Lord

"The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholds him with His hand." ~ Psalm 37:23-24

The Lord orders our steps. The word “order” means: secured, established. My friend, as we journey through this life, we know through the scripture here that our steps are secured by the Lord. Even though we may stumble, and we will stumble, notice that the scripture says we will not be cast down, that the Lord upholds us with His hand.

We have a picture here of Christ reaching down his hand guiding us as a father does with his child. Think about as you walk hand-in-hand with your child, all of a sudden he/she stumbles and falls; your first response is to scoop them up and comfort them, right. That is what our loving father does for us, as we stumble he doesn’t give up and leave us there, he scoops us up into his loving arms and shows us he cares. My friend, there are many struggles at various degrees that we go through in our daily lives. As we go through this study we are going to see that we don’t necessarily alleviate the struggles, we will always have struggles in life, but we will learn how to go through the struggles and that there is a reason and a purpose for the struggles we go through. May you have a blessed day as you find comfort in your Heavenly Father's arms.
