Welcome to Empowered Bible Studies

Bible study is essential to our Christian walk. As we study God's Word, our personal relationship with God grows deeper and deeper. It empowers us to live for the Lord in every aspect of our lives. This is what has inspired me to do an online Bible study.

Many years ago my husband introduced me to a commentary on the book of Colossians and I was so blessed as the Scripture came to life before my very eyes. Since that day we have developed an extensive library and enjoy studying God's Word.

I have prepared some Bible studies that I would like to share with you. My prayer is that they will bless you as much as they have blessed me in preparing them. I pray your life is touched and that it would inspire you to live every moment of every day for Christ.

My Lord and Savior

Nehemiah 9:6 ―"You alone are the LORD; You have made heaven, The heaven of heavens, with all their host, The earth and everything on it, The seas and all that is in them, and You preserve them all. The host of heaven worships You."


God did not create the universe, the world and everything in it to just walk away and have us fend for ourselves. He sustains us, meets our needs, and has a plan and a purpose for each and every one of us and He has the power to carry that plan out. The entire universe is under the control of God.

We know who holds the universe together don’t we. We know who keeps everything in its proper place. We know who is in Control. So why is it so hard to trust Him with the details of our lives? It God can keep the sun at just the right distance so that we all don’t burn up, why can’t we see His control in the details of our lives.
