So far in our study of 1 Peter the emphasis has been on Walking in Hope, Walking in Holiness, and Walking in Harmony. Now as we continue our study in the book of First Peter chapters two and three, the emphasis will be on Walking in Submission. The word "Submission" these days gets a bad rap, but as we will see Submission does not mean slavery or subjugation but simply the recognition of God's authority in our lives.
Over the next few posts, Peter will show us Submission in the life of a believer:
as a citizen of Heaven to the lost - 1 Peter 2:11-12
as a citizen of Heaven to Government /Authority – 1 Peter 2:13-17
as a worker - 1 Peter 2:18-25
as a marriage partner – 1 Peter 3:1-7
as a member of the Christian assembly - 1 Peter 3:8-12
as a citizen of Heaven to the lost - 1 Peter 2:11-12
as a citizen of Heaven to Government /Authority – 1 Peter 2:13-17
as a worker - 1 Peter 2:18-25
as a marriage partner – 1 Peter 3:1-7
as a member of the Christian assembly - 1 Peter 3:8-12
I look forward to studying God's Word with you. God bless you
