Paul said in Galatians 2:20 'I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me'. We must decrease and Christ must increase in our lives. Paul kept his eye on the prize and he continually pressed toward the finish line. Philippians 3:12-14 'Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead. I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus'. We need to reach forward to those things which are ahead as the Apostle Paul did. Over the next few posts we will see how this equates to our daily lives.
Remember my friend, we cannot live godly lives in this world without Christ's strength. Philippians 4:13 'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me'
