My friends, as we gather together to celebrate Thanksgiving, let us be mindful of those around us who are hurting; for those who are facing difficult times; for those who are not able to be home and those who are lost ... Let us show God’s love - John 15:12 'This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you'
In our home, Thanksgiving is not about eating Turkey - it is first and foremost about thanking God for sending His only Son; Jesus Christ to the world so that we can spend eternity with Him. John 3:17 'For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved'
It is a time to reflect on all the blessings we have received and thank the Lord for all He has done for us.
Ephesians 5:20 'always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father'
May the Lord our God be glorified today and everyday. God bless
