Welcome to Empowered Bible Studies

Bible study is essential to our Christian walk. As we study God's Word, our personal relationship with God grows deeper and deeper. It empowers us to live for the Lord in every aspect of our lives. This is what has inspired me to do an online Bible study.

Many years ago my husband introduced me to a commentary on the book of Colossians and I was so blessed as the Scripture came to life before my very eyes. Since that day we have developed an extensive library and enjoy studying God's Word.

I have prepared some Bible studies that I would like to share with you. My prayer is that they will bless you as much as they have blessed me in preparing them. I pray your life is touched and that it would inspire you to live every moment of every day for Christ.

You are Not Alone

Are you feeling isolated or alone, take courage my friend as we are all in this together and we will get through this one day at a time.

It’s ok to be fearful of what is happening in the world today, but we can take that fear to the Lord and find peace within our souls.  Did you know that even David in the Bible was afraid.  Read what he said in Psalms 56:3 “Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.”  Did you read that? He said Whenever I am afraid; So he is admitting he does get afraid, but then what does he say ... I will trust in You God.

My dear friend, David made a choice to trust God in the midst of his fear; He did not allow the fear to paralyze his mind but sought refuge in Christ.  We too can take our fears to the Lord as David did and find peace within our soul.  We may not know what tomorrow may bring forth as we see in Proverbs 27:1, but we do know who holds tomorrow and in that we can find peace.

We may currently be separated from our family and friends during this pandemic, but we are not alone.  Nothing can separate us from the amazing love of God.

Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Take one day at a time my friend and we will get through this together. Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
