Welcome to Empowered Bible Studies

Bible study is essential to our Christian walk. As we study God's Word, our personal relationship with God grows deeper and deeper. It empowers us to live for the Lord in every aspect of our lives. This is what has inspired me to do an online Bible study.

Many years ago my husband introduced me to a commentary on the book of Colossians and I was so blessed as the Scripture came to life before my very eyes. Since that day we have developed an extensive library and enjoy studying God's Word.

I have prepared some Bible studies that I would like to share with you. My prayer is that they will bless you as much as they have blessed me in preparing them. I pray your life is touched and that it would inspire you to live every moment of every day for Christ.

God is in Control

Ruth full of hope returns home to share with Naomi all that had happened.

Let's continue our study as we look at Ruth 3:16-17 “So when she came to her mother-in-law, she said, "Is that you, my daughter?" Then she told her all that the man had done for her. And she said, "These six ephahs of barley he gave me; for he said to me, 'Do not go empty-handed to your mother-in-law.' "

Ruth’s sharing the promise and provision of Boaz with Naomi is a clear picture of bearing testimony to the promises of God. How many times do we share what God is doing in our lives. Do we get excited about His promises to us and His provisions for us? My friend, God is working in our lives just as He did in Ruth and Naomi’s. We just have to remember that when things get tough and it looks like things just aren’t going well, that God is in control and knows our future.
